Event Details

Parents, educators, and community leaders will come together on April 14th to discuss how the competitiveness of admission at top 100 colleges has changed the way high school students prepare for the college application process. A select panel of educators representing the most selective institutions in Georgia will be addressing the challenges of college admission in the 21st century and offering advice parents can use. This town hall will provide parents with a better understanding of what the competition actually looks like and that will help parents know how to give their teenager the best chance at admission success.

PANELISTS WILL DISCUSS THREE CRITICAL QUESTIONS:

  1. How has the dramatic increase of qualified applicants fundamentally changed the admission process at top 100 colleges and universities?
  2. What are educators(K-12) and psychologists doing to help students prepare and manage the competitive admission process?
  3. How can parents help their teenager standout from other highly-qualified applicants in the admission process at top 100 colleges and universities?
